Petri Steering Wheel (late 1940's -)
German Gustav Petri has manufactured steering wheels for several, such as VW, DKW and Borgward cars since 1940's (might have been started earlier also). Even your standard steering wheel might be Petri, but that don't make it rare and expensive. The most famous accessory steering wheel for 50's Volkswagen is three-spoke Petri Pealit "Banjo" steering wheel with four bars in every spoke. There was also other models, such as two-spoke, that become more common in late 50's.

Petri Signal Ring (late 1940's -)
Petri manufactured also signal rings for their accessory steering wheels, and for standard steering wheels. There was even black signal ring for Transporter...

Petri horn button (late 1940's -)
Since late 40's Petri produced several different horn buttons for their accessory steering wheels, and standard steering wheels. Subjects of buttons were St. Christopher, Greek lady, Sun and Moon, and many others. There was also opinion to get your wifes or dogs photo added to hornbutton.
